Doing woodworking as a
hobby, I found that the valuable time
spent clamping work pieces and jigs to my workbench for
sanding, routing, or assembly, was time that could be better
spent on the actual construction of
projects.
In an effort to
better utilize the limited amount
of time I was able to spend in the shop, this
inexpensive clamping system was
developed.
Designed to be powered by
a vacuum source such as a vacuum pump,
vacuum generator, or even an old refrigerator compressor,
it is in constant use in my shop on almost every proj ect I
build. |
